Q: How long will it take for my cabinets to be ready?
A: Our kitchen cabinets are manufactured and ready to ship to your location in 5 – 6 weeks from the date of receipt of your confirmed order along with payment.

Q. What determines the cost of a kitchen renovation?
A: Your kitchen Cabinets will account for over one half of the total cost of the project. This one item will typically have the greatest impact on your budget. Kitchen cabinets range in price considerably based on their quality, the type of material they are made of, whether they are stock (ready made in specific sizes) or custom (produced specifically for your kitchen in whatever sizes are needed). Also a factor is whether they are flat-packed and require assembly or are professionally assembled in a factory and shipped to you complete and ready to install.

Q: How can I cut costs of renovating my kitchen?
A: Doing some or the entire project yourself will help save costs related to your time and effort. Also, by choosing cabinets that are pre-assembled, you save the time and hassle of assembly on site prior to installation. How much you do yourself depends on your comfort level, ability and knowledge of remodeling. Many of our customers tear out their old cabinets taking the necessary care not to damage walls and beams, rip out flooring and handle trash removal. Most people paint or wallpaper on their own. Use licensed professionals where it is necessary or mandatory like in electrical, plumbing and appliance hook-ups. Finally, consider using a professional installer to install your new cabinets so that they look their best.

Q: If I do wish to install myself, what does it take?
A: Installing your own kitchen can be very rewarding but does require some basic skills. It is also advisable to get someone to help you. We provide detailed drawings along with every purchase. Your drawings will be shipped along with your cabinetry order and will contain detailed measurements and designer’s notes that you will need during the installation of your cabinets.

Q: How do I accurately measure my space for the new cabinets?
A: We offer a guide to Measuring Your Kitchen, which can be downloaded by clicking here. We are happy to provide any assistance during your measurement process.

Q: My order is ready. How do I place the order with you?
A: Simply sign the quote and fax it back to us at 1-800-xxx-xxxx. We will then contact you to make arrangements for the initial deposit. Once your cabinets are in production, we will have an estimated date of shipment for you.

Q: How do I pay for my new kitchen cabinets?
A: We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and Paypal. We offer a 2% discount if you make the payment by mailing us a Bank draft or sending us a wire transfer. Our account information will be provided to you at the time of confirming your order with us. All prices quoted and those on our website are in US Dollars.

Q: I haven’t seen such good pricing anywhere … how can your prices so competitive?
A: We have a deal with a major manufacturer to produce a huge volume of kitchens for us each year. Our cabinetry is made in high volume and to the most exacting standards, right here in North America. With our ability to source cabinets at rock bottom prices, we in turn can offer excellent pricing. Check out the prices of our cabinets here.

Q: How soon will my cabinets be shipped once they are ready?
A: We ship all orders on Fridays from our warehouse in Ontario, Canada. All cabinets are inspected one more time before they are palletized to ensure that they are in perfect condition at the time of shipping. Each pallet is then shrink-wrapped to protect the cabinets during their journey to you.

Shipping costs are quoted per pallet and depend upon the destination of the shipment. We have some of the best shipping rates due to our high volume of shipments going out from our warehouse weekly. We will provide you with an estimated number of pallets at the time of placing your order and this may change as we complete the packaging of your order.

Your cabinets arrive on a truck to your doorstep. It is your responsibility to offload the cabinets from the truck although most nice drivers will give you a hand at your request. It is advisable to get some help at this point.

Q: What is the "work triangle" in my kitchen? Why is it important?
A: The term "work triangle" in the kitchen refers to the triangular area that is between the refrigerator, the main cooking area and the main sink. When you draw a straight line connecting these 3 points, it should form a triangle, unless of course your kitchen is along one straight wall. The triangle is important in any kitchen because it connects all the points where the key activities occur – food preparation, cooking and clean up. Keeping the elements of your kitchen organized in this triangle ensures that your kitchen is functional.

Q: Where's the best place in a kitchen to place a microwave?
A: The answer to this depends upon how the appliance will be used. Many people are comfortable with the microwave placed on the countertop but for those who want the additional space, it can be placed in one of the wall cabinets which would put it around 48 – 50” above the floor. Before making a final decision, ask yourself if the height you choose is comfortable for placing and removing dishes. Also, ensure that there is sufficient countertop space next to the microwave to place hot dishes after they are removed from the microwave.
